Black Cohosh Honey Elixir 2 oz

Black cohosh has been historically used for women’s hormonal support, especially for menopause, and for pain management. These extracts are made from wild crafted black cohosh roots, so they are very potent. This elixir is made with raw honey to make it a little gentler tasting than a straight alcohol tincture. We also offer it as an elixir with organic glycerin for those with blood sugar concerns, as glycerin has a low glycemic index.

NOTE: due to its effects on hormones, black cohosh should not be taken during pregnancy. It has been traditionally used ONLY during the last 6 weeks of pregnancy to prepare the body for labor, but if you do choose to use it then you should always consult with your doctor or midwife first and do your own research.
